Stock records become more useful when everyone follows the same routine. Begin with clear product information and a realistic check schedule before adding more detail.
Use one name for each product
Keep product names, variations and units consistent. Make it clear whether the team is counting individual items, packs or another unit. Separate retail products from supplies used during a service.
Assign the handovers
Decide who records incoming stock, who checks discrepancies and who approves purchases. Write down what happens when an item is returned, damaged or used internally so those changes are not left to memory.
Check a manageable group regularly
Start with the products that move most often or are most important to daily operations. Compare a physical count with the record and investigate differences. Set a review rhythm your team can maintain.
Connect the review to purchasing
Use recent sales, upcoming appointments and supplier lead times when planning an order. Review the inventory and supplier tools available in your Alyeon plan, and confirm any additional setup your workflow needs.
